Sandy B. Gladding, M.D. F.A.C.S.

Qualifications:

Sandy Gladding, MD is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and Board Certified in General Surgery. She was born and raised in Missouri, and is a graduate of the 6 year BA/MD program at the University of Missouri in Kansas City.

Dr. Gladding cmpleted her General Surgical Residency in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1993. She taught in that same program and worked as a private practice General Surgeon until 1998 when she relocated to Phoenix to work in the Indian Health Services. Dr. Gladding was Chief of Surgery at Phoenix Indian Medical Center until 204. She was then recruited to teach at Maricopa County in their General Surgery program and did so until May of 2005 when she moved to Banner Estrella. She enjoys working with the Residents from the Phoenix Integrated Surgical Residency at Banner Estrella.

Dr. Gladding enjoys a wide scope of general surgical practice including but not limited to the surgical treatment of cancer, gallbladder disease, hernias and thyroid disease. She is trained in Robotic surgery and has special interest in Robotic Low Anterior Colon Resections.
